📄 Abstract（原文）
This study examines perceptions of climate change at the Palandöken Ski Center from asustainability perspective, analyzing the relationships between tourists’ and local residents’ levelsof attention, belief systems, and climaterelated behaviors. Using a mixedmethods approach,quantitative data were obtained from 805 valid survey responses. To gain a deeper understandingand provide further insight into the quantitative findings, qualitative interviews commonly used inqualitative research were conducted with 78 participants through openended questions. Thequalitative data were analyzed using thematic analysis. Comparative analyses based on variousdemographic and behavioral variables were conducted to determine participants’ awareness levelsand attitudes toward climate change. The findings reveal that participants’ perceptions of climatechange are associated with individuals’ participation in tourism activities, gender, and educationalbackground. Overall, the results highlight the need to develop sustainable tourism policies that takedifferent tourist profiles into account. In this context, holistic strategies tailored specifically to thePalandöken destination are expected to play a critical role in enhancing environmental awarenessand strengthening societal sensitivity to climate change.
