This appendix provides the authentic source statements from which each ideal-typical scenario quote was synthesised. Statements were selected for the clarity with which they concentrate each scenario's internal logic, not for statistical typicality, from four actor categories active in the Australian debate: industry peak bodies and corporate communications; government policy documents and ministerial statements; parliamentary and think-tank material; and civil-society and First Nations organisations. Actor names are given here but withheld from the main text to keep the focus on discursive logic rather than individual rhetoric.
