English

A solar-driven hydronic radiant-floor prototype with eleven steel macroencapsulation tubes of paraffin RT52 was compared against a conventional concrete panel under real outdoor forcing. Across three days, the PCM panel showed daytime surface-temperature suppression (mean -1.2 K) followed by a delayed positive advantage of up to +1.8 K appearing 3.5-4.2 h after heat-flow reversal. Thermal-camera measurements reproduced the sign transition (R2 = 0.88), demonstrating reproducible thermal-load shifting by the full PCM-integrated assembly.

In the global GX context

This study contributes to the global building-decarbonization literature by providing field-validated evidence of PCM-based thermal-load shifting in solar hydronic floors. It is relevant to energy-efficiency standards and demand-side flexibility, but does not directly engage TCFD/ISSB/CSRD disclosure frameworks or transition-finance mechanisms.

📄 Abstract(原文)

A solar-driven hydronic radiant-floor prototype containing a conventional concrete panel and a parallel panel with eleven steel macroencapsulation tubes filled with paraffin RT52 was evaluated under transient outdoor forcing. The analysis was deliberately restricted to experimentally observable temperature differences, so that the principal outcome is independent of branch-flow uncertainty and of non-identifiable latent-heat parameters. Across three independent experimental days, the time-weighted charging-period surface difference ΔTsurf,ch was -1.2 K, -1.4 K, and -1.0 K, giving a day-level mean of -1.2 K. The corresponding return-water difference ΔTret,ch was -0.8 K, -0.9 K, and -0.7 K, with a daylevel mean of -0.8 K. In the two long-duration tests, the daytime suppression was followed by a delayed positive surface response: the maximum PCM-panel advantage reached +1.5 K and +1.8 K, respectively, 3.5 h and 4.2 h after the systemlevel heat-flow reversal. On 3–4 July, the positive surface-temperature advantage persisted for approximately 9.0 h and produced a positive persistence integral of about +11.2 K*h. Independent thermal-camera measurements reproduced the same daytime-negative to nighttime-positive sign transition; after time alignment, the contact-sensor and infrared differentials had R2 = 0.88 and 90% sign concordance. The results demonstrate reproducible thermal-load shifting by the complete PCM-integrated floor assembly under real solar forcing. Because the PCM panel also contains a thicker concrete slab and steel capsules, the observed effect is not interpreted as a direct measurement of RT52 latent heat alone.
