📄 Abstract(原文)

The growing global energy demand, coupled with the adverse effects of fossil fuel consumption on the environment, has accelerated the transition toward clean and green energy solutions. Achieving sustainable energy production and utilization requires not only the deployment of renewable technologies but also the development of advanced materials that can enhance efficiency, stability, and scalability. Clean and green energy encompasses a wide spectrum of sources, including solar, wind, hydropower, biomass, hydrogen, and ocean-based systems, which collectively aim to minimize greenhouse gas emissions and reduce ecological footprints. Advanced materials such as nanostructured semiconductors, graphene-based composites, perovskites, bio-inspired polymers, and smart catalysts are playing an increasingly pivotal role in improving the performance of energy conversion and storage devices. For instance, perovskite solar cells have shown remarkable progress in power conversion efficiency, while graphene and carbon nanotubes are revolutionizing energy storage technologies like supercapacitors and lithium-ion batteries by enhancing conductivity, surface area, and charge mobility. Similarly, the integration of advanced membranes and catalysts in fuel cells and hydrogen production systems has significantly improved their durability and cost-effectiveness. Beyond material innovation, emerging clean energy technologies are reshaping the energy landscape. Photovoltaics are moving toward flexible, lightweight, and transparent modules suitable for integration in buildings and vehicles. Battery technologies are advancing toward solid-state systems with higher energy density and enhanced safety, while hydrogen is increasingly recognized as a versatile energy carrier with applications in transportation, industry, and power generation. Waste-to-energy systems, bioenergy conversion, and carbon capture-integrated energy solutions further expand the scope of sustainable alternatives. Moreover, the convergence of digital technologies with the energy sector—through artificial intelligence, machine learning, and Internet of Things (IoT)-enabled smart grids—facilitates efficient energy management, predictive maintenance, and optimized integration of renewables into the power system. Despite these advancements, several challenges remain. Issues such as material degradation, high production costs, limited large-scale deployment, and recycling of spent devices hinder the widespread adoption of green technologies. Addressing these limitations requires interdisciplinary research that combines material science, chemical engineering, environmental science, and policy frameworks. Future perspectives emphasize the need for circular economy approaches, eco-friendly fabrication methods, and scalable manufacturing of sustainable energy devices. International collaboration, strong policy support, and investment in research and development will be vital to accelerating the transition toward a carbon-neutral future. In conclusion, the synergy between advanced materials and innovative technologies is central to achieving the goals of clean and green energy. With continuous scientific breakthroughs, coupled with supportive policies and societal adoption, the energy sector can evolve toward systems that are efficient, resilient, and environmentally benign. This paper provides a comprehensive overview of the state-of-the-art in materials and technologies for clean energy and explores future perspectives that will shape the development of sustainable, low-carbon, and energy-secure societies.
