📄 Abstract(原文)
Energy system innovation plays a critical role in advancing sustainable development, particularly in geographically diverse regions such as Sabah. This study explores smart energy solutions including renewable energy integration, decentralized grids, and digital monitoring systems as viable pathways to enhance energy accessibility, efficiency, and environmental sustainability. Drawing on policy reports and empirical studies, the research synthesizes current practices and emerging technologies applicable to Sabah’s rural–urban energy divide. The findings highlight that while technological innovation is expanding, structural challenges such as infrastructure gaps, policy limitations, and uneven adoption persist. The study contributes by contextualizing global energy innovation frameworks within Sabah’s local realities, offering insights for sustainable and inclusive energy transitions.
