This study analyzes panel data from MINT economies (1990-2020) using CS-ARDL to examine relationships between economic growth, green finance, renewable energy, natural resource rent, energy innovation, urbanization, and pollution. Results show that while economic growth, natural resource rent, and urbanization increase pollution, green finance, renewable energy consumption, and energy innovation reduce it. The findings guide policymakers on investing in eco-friendly technologies.

📄 Abstract(原文)
Globally, efforts are being made to achieve ecological sustainability while reducing pollution's impact on the environment. This study aims to analyze the links between many variables, such as GDP growth, green finance, consumption of renewable energy, natural resource rent, technological innovation in the energy sector, urbanization, and pollution, using panel data spanning the years 1990 to 2020. In this investigation, an innovative approach to econometrics known as CS-ARDL was used to investigate the short-term as well as the long-term relationships that exist between the series. According to the results, economic growth, the monetization of natural resources, and urbanization are all factors that lead to pollution. The findings of this study, on the other hand, demonstrated that encouraging energy innovation, green funding, and the use of renewable energy are all realistic strategies for reducing the number of pollutants released into the environment. This study contributes to the existing body of research by examining the factors that lead to environmental pollution from the point of view of MINT economies. This research acts as a reference for governments and policymakers to utilize when selecting how much money to invest in environmentally friendly technologies for extracting natural resources from these countries to have a less negative effect on the environment.
