This paper examines organizational strategies to cut the carbon footprint of anesthesia and perioperative departments. It maps emission sources such as inhaled anesthetics and single-use devices, and organizes reduction measures spanning procurement, waste, and clinical decision-making. It offers a governance and implementation framework for hospital decarbonization.
