South Asia faces interconnected challenges arising from climate change, ecological degradation, water insecurity, food-system vulnerability, and marine plastic pollution. These challenges require not only scientific knowledge and policy development but also practical expertise capable of translating climate solutions into effective, community-level action. The Green Horizon Academy is proposed as an independent, international, net-zero educational ecosystem designed to address this implementation gap through interdisciplinary education, applied research, and real-world climate innovation. The Academy will integrate climate engineering, renewable energy and smart-grid systems, climate finance and carbon markets, environmental law, regenerative agriculture, and sustainable food systems within a living-laboratory campus. Its educational model emphasizes hands-on learning through campus-based renewable energy systems, carbon accounting and trading simulations, regenerative agriculture, water and waste management, and ecological restoration initiatives. The proposed framework aims to develop a new generation of climate professionals, entrepreneurs, researchers, and policy practitioners equipped to address regional and global environmental challenges.
