This systematic review synthesises empirical evidence (2015–2025) on the relationship between sustainable logistics practices (including green supply chain management) and supply chain carbon footprint, with particular attention to the moderating role of contractual, relational and informational governance mechanisms. Following PRISMA 2020 guidelines, 4,048 records were screened and 60 high-quality studies (CASP/MMAT ≥ 16/20) were retained for synthesis.
