📄 Abstract(原文)
The aviation industry requires deep decarbonization, yet large-scale electrification is limited by battery weight, concentrated airport energy demand, and rigid turnaround times. To overcome these limitations, this paper proposes a novel hydrogen and electric synergistic energy framework to systematically evaluate the feasibility and quantify the absolute energy baseline for airport energy transitions. This study first distinguishes electric aircraft charging clusters from conventional electric vehicle charging networks and then develops a physics-based energy requirement model that translates flight missions into electricity and hydrogen demand. An energy mapping and mode selection mechanism is further introduced to match flight distance, payload, and turnaround time with suitable energy modes, including fast charging, battery swapping, hybrid propulsion, and traditional fuel fallback. Applying this framework to a full-day flight schedule at LaGuardia Airport shows that the transition would require 1.6 GWh of electricity and 89.4 tons of hydrogen daily. Under a fully green energy scenario, carbon emissions can be reduced by up to 43.1%. These results highlight the scale of future airport energy demand and the need for spatiotemporal grid adaptation strategies.
