📄 Abstract（原文）
This is an accepted article with a DOI pre-assigned that is not yet published. Development corridors have become central to contemporary development and energy transition strategies, underscored by infrastructural development for connectivity, efficiency, and growth. This paper argues that such approaches however obscure and elide the reality of corridorisation. It forecloses a framing whereby the corridor is constitutive of socio-ecological bundles through which power, environment, and the energy of human and extra-human natures are historically reorganised. Following Marxist Political Ecology, with its grounding in a critical interdisciplinary understanding, development corridors are repositioned from neutral conduits of development to infrastructures of accumulation. This emphasises the corridor as an active continuum through which capitalism reproduces organises its constitutive relations across time and space for the cheapening of accumulation. The argument is developed through the Lobito Corridor in Africa. It is a key site where geopolitical power, extractive capital, and infrastructural development reproduce Cheap Nature, illustrating a historically unfolding process of humanity-in-nature
