📄 Abstract(原文)
This paper examines the extent to which green accounting can serve as a strategic and financial lever for measuring environmental externalities, guiding budgetary trade-offs, strengthening organizational reputation, and influencing corporate valuation in financial markets. The analysis draws on a literature review spanning environmental accounting, sustainable finance, and stakeholder theory, as well as on a qualitative inquiry based on twelve semi-structured interviews conducted with professionals in accounting, auditing, consulting, extra-financial reporting, and banking. The findings show that green accounting is, first and foremost, a mechanism for measuring and making impacts visible, but that its degree of operationalization depends heavily on firms' internal structuring, resources, methodological tools, and regulatory exposure. In large firms, environmental indicators are increasingly linked to management systems, industrial investment decisions, risk management, and access to finance. In SMEs and intermediate organizations, this dynamic remains more fragile because of insufficient training, limited tools, weak cross-functional coordination, and constrained verification capacity. The article therefore highlights a central tension: green accounting is becoming an indispensable management infrastructure for sustainability transitions, yet its institutionalization remains uneven. The quality of environmental reporting, its methodological robustness, and its articulation with economic decision-making shape corporate credibility, legitimacy, and, increasingly, perceived value.
