📄 Abstract(原文)
This paper looks at some of the outstanding developments, concerns and gaps in the BRICS nations — Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa — renewable energy (RE) landscape. It evaluates their contributions to the global RE transitions and key enablers/ constraints. Over the period 2010–2025, bibliometric reviews, econometric analysis and policy case studies were selected from Scopus, IEEE, Springer in encyclopaedic profiling within both individual national energy contexts including a comparative cross-cutting thematic review. China, India and Brazil — among the most fossil-fuel dependent countries in the Clean Revolution – are all deploying renewable energy at scale, but whereas infrastructure performance is slowly improving in China and accelerating significantly in India, there are signs that renewable growth is stalling in Brazil. Key drivers are political stability, financing and technological innovation while challenges relate to policy inconsistency and infrastructure limitations. The scale of RE in BRICS depends on governance quality, regional co-operation and detailed investments to provide a roadmap for equitable and sustainable energy futures.
