📄 Abstract(原文)
Abstract: Starting from the need to make, in accordance with the policies of the European Union (EU27), a sustainable and just energy transition, the paper aims to deepen the level of knowledge regarding the integration of circularity elements in combating energy vulnerability at the level of European companies. Although numerous researches deal with the energy transition, many of them focus strictly on elements of energy vulnerability and in general on distinct segments of companies, such as microenterprises, medium-sized companies, and large companies, and on different industries. In this context, starting from the Energy Poverty Advisory Hub (EPAH) indicators adapted to capture energy vulnerability at the level of companies, the article proposes to develop some indicators, and based on them, finally a composite index that can capture the capacity of circularity to correct the shortcomings of the energy vulnerability of European companies. The sector of analysis chosen as an example is the manufacturing sector, for the period 2010-2025, and the initial data, systematized by panel, are taken from Eurostat. The results highlight the ability to improve companies' energy performance by integrating, from the early stages of energy strategy, the principles, norms, behaviours and methods of introducing circular economy policies. The study also aims to encourage public policy managers to develop and monitor a series of indicators that will allow companies to more accurately and efficiently assess, both externally and internally, not only their energy vulnerability, but also their circular energy vulnerability.
