This two-pager summarises the key takeaways from a webinar hosted by the Invest4Nature project, exploring the question: “How can Nature-based Solutions become more relevant to financial decision-making?”. The session brought together representatives from insurance, banking, asset management, and corporate finance to reflect on the financing and risk-reduction potential of Nature-based Solutions. Drawing on insights from the Invest4Nature and Nature-3B projects, participants discussed opportunities and challenges related to private investment, NbS market development, and nature credit schemes, while identifying what is needed to make NbS more relevant, bankable, and scalable within the financial sector.
