English
A review of 54 Scopus-indexed documents (2015–2026) on sustainable finance and financial risk, combining bibliometrics with NLP methods (PCA/t-SNE semantic clustering, Zipf's law). The field accelerated after 2021 (CAGR 20.8%), led by China, the UK, Italy and France. Key themes include ESG, green bonds, climate and credit risk, and biodiversity; the authors conclude the field remains concentrated and fragmented, with methodological gaps in integrating sustainability into financial risk models.

📝 gxceed 編集解説 — Why this matters
In the global GX context
Maps how climate and transition risk are being folded into financial risk models — directly relevant to TCFD/ISSB-aligned scenario analysis and transition finance debates. Its bibliometric lens helps disclose where the global research frontier sits, though it offers no new empirical evidence.

📄 Abstract(原文)
This study aims to analyze the development of the scientific literature on sustainable finance and financial risks through a theoretical, bibliometric, and natural language processing review. To this end, a corpus of 54 documents indexed in Scopus during the period 2015–2026 was examined. These documents were retrieved using terms related to sustainable finance, green finance, ESG criteria, green bonds, financial risks, climate risk, credit risk, and transition risk. The quality of the metadata was assessed, and analyses of annual production, territorial distribution, bibliometric concentration, thematic maps, term co-occurrence, Zipf's Law verification, and semantic clustering using PCA and t-SNE were applied. The results show a recent acceleration in the field, especially since 2021, with a compound annual growth rate of 20.8% and a strong concentration of citations, journals, and authors. China, the United Kingdom, Italy, and France stand out as key regions in scientific production. The main thematic areas are related to sustainable finance, ESG, financial risk, banking, green bonds, climate change, credit risk, and biodiversity. It is concluded that the field is expanding, although it still exhibits scientific concentration, thematic fragmentation, and methodological challenges in integrating sustainability into financial risk models.
