Energy systems around the world are undergoing a profound transformation driven by the rapid ex-pansion of renewable energy, accelerating electrification, and growing concerns about security of supply. In this evolving landscape, energy storage is no longer a supporting technology but has be-come a fundamental pillar of the modern power system. The rapid deployment of storage capacity en-hances system flexibility, facilitates the integration of variable renewable generation, and helps main-tain grid stability. Across Central and Eastern Europe and the wider region, a new wave of invest-ments is expected to significantly reshape electricity markets in the coming years, creating both strate-gic opportunities and new challenges for energy sector stakeholders. KivonatAz energiarendszerek világszerte gyors átalakuláson mennek keresztül, amelyet a megújuló energia-források térnyerése, a villamosítás felgyorsulása és az ellátásbiztonság iránti növekvő igény egyaránt hajt. Ebben a változó környezetben a villamosenergia-tárolók mára nem csupán kiegészítő technoló-giának számítanak, hanem a modern energiarendszer egyik meghatározó elemévé váltak.
