This dataset supports the manuscript “Renewable Potential amid Fossil-Fuel Legacies? Regional Economic Trajectories in Europe’s Low-Carbon Transition.” The files contain the processed analysis data and model outputs used to examine economic trajectories across 242 European NUTS-2 regions under progressively tightening carbon pricing over 2030–2050. The materials include regional economic impacts, trajectory classifications, sectoral gross value added information, structural indicators, fossil-fuel specialisation measures, and renewable-energy potential variables used in the analysis. The underlying source data and their construction are documented in the manuscript and Supplementary Material. This repository contains the processed analytical datasets used to generate the reported results.
