This thesis investigates the environmental impact of a biogas plant with a capacity of 5,000 tons/year and develops measures to reduce negative environmental effects. The work analyzes the anaerobic digestion process, environmental risks associated with biogas production, and methods for purification of gaseous emissions. A technological scheme including anaerobic digesters, a gas-liquid separator, and a two-stage purification system was developed and evaluated using Aspen HYSYS simulation software. The study confirms the environmental and technical effectiveness of the proposed treatment system for sustainable renewable energy production.
