English
The EU LIFE project GENDER4POWER demonstrates holistic, gender-responsive, multi-stakeholder solutions in renewable energy and efficiency to improve the lives of energy-poor households. It presents its community 'Shine On Ambassadors' engagement model and early knowledge outputs on energy communities, renovation challenges, and gender-responsive approaches. Findings stress inclusive governance and removal of structural barriers as preconditions for a just energy transition.

📝 gxceed 編集解説 — Why this matters
In the global GX context
While EU-funded and framed around just transition, the paper speaks to the social dimension of disclosure now entering ISSB/CSRD-adjacent reporting: how companies and municipalities evidence inclusive governance and community engagement. It offers a replicable model for gender-responsive energy poverty programmes that global transition-finance and just-transition frameworks increasingly require.

📄 Abstract(原文)
The LIFE project GENDER4POWER aims to improve the living conditions, financial stability, health, well-being, and energy efficiency of households affected by energy poverty through the demonstration and implementation of holistic, gender-responsive, multi-stakeholder, and people-centred solutions in the fields of renewable energy and energy efficiency. This paper presents the project’s main activities, its unique stakeholder engagement strategy built around community Shine On Ambassadors, and the key findings of its first knowledge outputs. These include country-specific and EU-level reports on the role of energy communities in fighting energy poverty, renovation challenges at the demonstrator level, gender-responsive approaches to energy poverty, and the implementation of the ambassadors’ programme. Taken together, the results highlight the critical importance of inclusive governance, gender-equitable programme design, and the removal of structural barriers as preconditions for a just and effective energy transition.
