スコットランド政府の2045年ネットゼロ目標に向け、2032年までに農業排出を2018年比31%削減する必要がある。本報告は専門家知見・文献・特許調査により、家畜メタン抑制飼料添加物、リモートセンシング、藻類由来単一細胞タンパク質など86の新技術を特定し、評価基準で絞り込んだ。限界削減費用曲線では捉えられていない技術を対象とし、20年視野で実装可能性を検討している。
