Целью данного исследования является всесторонний анализ роли подходов ESG в трансформации текстильной промышленности, оценка их влияния на формирование устойчивых моделей производства и интеграцию в глобальные цепочки создания стоимости. Методология исследования включает контент-анализ отчетов международных организаций (ЮНЕП, ОЭСР, МОТ, Фонд Эллен Макартур), сравнительный анализ стандартов отчетности в области устойчивого развития (GRI, CSRD, SASB), а также систематическую оценку экологического и социального воздействия отрасли. Научная новизна работы заключается в синтезе экологических, социальных и управленческих аспектов модернизации с акцентом на конкретные вызовы для стран СНГ. Результаты показывают, что трансформация ESG может не только смягчить негативное воздействие на окружающую среду, но и стать движущей силой долгосрочной конкурентоспособности, открывая доступ к новым рынкам и источникам финансирования. The textile industry, being a key sector of the global economy, is one of the most resource-intensive and environmentally destructive industries. In the context of the worsening climate crisis and tougher international regulation, the implementation of ESG (Environmental Social Governance) principles is moving from the category of voluntary initiatives to the category of imperative for strategic development. The purpose of this study is a comprehensive analysis of the role of ESG approaches in the transformation of the textile industry, assessing their impact on the formation of sustainable production models and integration into global value chains. The research methodology includes content analysis of reports from international organizations (UNEP, OECD, ILO, Ellen MacArthur Foundation), comparative analysis of sustainable reporting standards (GRI, CSRD, SASB), as well as a systematic assessment of the environmental and social impact of the industry. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the synthesis of environmental, social and managerial aspects of modernization with a focus on specific challenges for the CIS countries. The results demonstrate that ESG transformation can not only mitigate the negative impact on the environment, but also become a driver of long-term competitiveness, opening up access to new markets and sources of financing.
