📄 Abstract（原文）
The major challenges with climate change are mainly caused by carbon emissions from fossil fuels. It is expected that climate change will disrupt business operations, business supply chains, and the long-term sustainability. ESG investing are seen as crucial in tackling climate change and exploring investment opportunities. The study consists of critical review of various research articles and reports in understanding the impact of ESG investing in mitigating climate change in recent years. It also addresses the opportunities in adapting ESG investing methodology in investing for retirement, as retirement funds are among the largest funds. Apart, from the recent initiatives taken by governments, international organisations, and investors, we also address the challenges faced in ESG investing generally, and the challenges on its implementation in retirement funds. Overall, this is a comprehensive study which will be a valuable addition to the study of ESG investing.
