English
Using panel data from Chinese A-share listed companies (2011-2022), this study examines the effect of green credit on corporate digital responsibility (CDR) and the mediating role of supply chain transparency (SCT). Results show that green credit significantly enhances CDR, and SCT exhibits a nonlinear mediation: initially suppressing due to compliance pressure, then fostering alignment between green financing and digital responsibility.

📄 Abstract(原文)
Drawing on panel data from 4229 firm‐year observations of Chinese A‐share listed companies (2011–2022), this study investigates the relationship between green credit and corporate digital responsibility (CDR), focusing on the mediating role of supply chain transparency (SCT). The findings reveal that green credit significantly enhances CDR performance. Moreover, SCT demonstrates a nonlinear mediating effect: transparency initially imposes compliance and disclosure pressures that suppress the benefits of green credit but subsequently fosters improved alignment between environmental financing and digital responsibility. These findings offer strategic implications for firms and policymakers seeking to integrate sustainable finance, responsible digitalization, and transparent supply chain governance.
