📝 gxceed 編集解説 — Why this matters

日本のGX文脈において

SSBJ・有報でのScope 3や廃棄物開示が進む中、サービス業の資源循環モデルは非製造業の開示対応の参考になる。ただし定量データや日本企業事例はなく、実務適用には追加検証が必要。

In the global GX context

Adds a service-sector (hospitality) lens to circular-economy and ESG disclosure debates, which are often manufacturing-centric. Relevant to CSRD/ISSB resource-use and waste disclosures, though it offers no empirical benchmarks.

👥 読者別の含意

🔬研究者:Provides a conceptual framework integrating circular economy, ESG, and digital monitoring for service-sector resource management, useful as a starting point for empirical testing.

🏢実務担当者:Hospitality sustainability teams can borrow the integrated model's structure for energy/water/waste programs, but should expect to build their own metrics.

📄 Abstract(原文)

The modern development of the hotel and restaurant business necessitates a shift toward management models focused on the rational use of resources and the assurance of environmental safety. Consequently, there is a pressing need to develop innovative models for sustainable resource management that integrate the economic, environmental, and social priorities of hotel and restaurant complexes. This article aims to formulate and substantiate an innovative model for the sustainable resource management of hotel and restaurant complexes, grounded in the principles of the circular economy, ESG, green management, and the digitalization of business processes, with the goal of enhancing resource efficiency, environmental safety, and enterprise competitiveness. The research employs systemic, structural-functional, and process-oriented approaches, alongside methods of analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalization, expert assessment, and modeling. The study examines the theoretical foundations of sustainable development and the circular economy within the hotel and restaurant sector. It analyzes contemporary approaches to environmental and green management, ESG strategies, and corporate social responsibility in the hospitality industry. Furthermore, it explores the potential of smart solutions and business process digitalization to improve resource efficiency and service quality. The article substantiates strategies for integrating environmental management, ESG principles, HACCP, and social responsibility into a sustainable resource management system. Finally, an innovative model for the sustainable resource management of hotel and restaurant complexes based on circular economy principles is proposed. The proposed model focuses on reducing resource losses and waste, reusing resources, and enhancing environmental safety, service quality, and enterprise competitiveness. Its scientific novelty lies in the development of an integrated model for sustainable resource management in hotel and restaurant complexes, combining circular economy principles, ESG approaches, green innovations, and digital monitoring of resource flows. Its practical significance lies in the model's applicability to optimizing the use of energy, water, and material resources, as well as reducing waste and operational costs.
