📄 Abstract(原文)
This study aims to examine the effect of climate strategies and sustainable practices on the growth and efficiency of Unilever, as well as on the capabilities of the supply chain and competitive advantage. This research is interpretivism, deductive, and uses an explanatory design. The data obtained from secondary data from journals, company reports, and industry sources that are analysed with thematic analysis. The findings indicate that climate policies, renewable energy, efficiency, sustainable sourcing and green solutions act as pollution abatement, resource maximisation, resilience strengthening and performance improvement levers. However, significant gaps still need to be closed, including Scope 3 emissions, multi-contract suppliers, packaging circularity, financial access, consumers’ habits and measurement difficulties. The study recommends encouraging deeper supply involvement, accelerating the advent of circular packaging innovation, selecting low-carbon materials, acquiring renewable energies and implementing advanced sustainability monitoring. The findings provide practical guidance for Unilever, other consumer goods firms, managers and policymakers in sustainable growth development for the future.
